I am Always Inspired to Continue to Grow

By Agnes

A client told me about Unity when he visited me on a Sunday after service. I had never heard of Unity; however, I was intrigued and curious as I lived just a 10-minute car ride away. I made it to an outdoor food event in August. I also went to a couple of services.

I was especially excited to take my first class in January 2015, “The Game of Life,” based on a book by Florence Scovel Shinn. The class was about our programs and beliefs. As a Theta Healer, I was very familiar with limiting beliefs and how to release them.

I was hooked when I reconnected with a person there whom I had just met. I was especially interested in learning more about her. We continued attending classes with Rev. Heidi, who was the minister then. I became a member, and my husband also joined me.

I had been a Catholic for 69 years, but the switch to Unity was easy. I had never made any real friends in all the years of attending Catholic church. I never resonated with the sermons either. At Unity, I am always inspired to continue to grow. My life is an exciting adventure and I love the new friends I have made over the last 10 years.
