Sometimes life can feel messy, chaotic, and unhinged. Drama unfolds around us, difficult decisions need to be made, and our loved ones exhibit baffling behaviors. It can be challenging to see a clear way through this messiness. Our human intellect strives to collect knowledge - we gather facts and analyze data in an effort to more fully understand a situation. Often we wish we had a crystal ball to predict outcomes to our next move. What we often forget to utilize is our spiritual gift of understanding. Not the human intellect kind of understanding, but the deep inner knowing that comes from connection with our Source.

Just as the hot July sun shines down on us, our gift of spiritual understanding also can shine a golden light onto any situation helping us to see it more clearly. And remember that nothing can dampen the sun’s brightness. We may face the appearance of darkness at times - clouds cast shadows, we close our eyes, or the entire planet rotates away from the sun. But, in fact, the sun remains shining without ceasing, unbothered by our temporary circumstances. 

The same is true of our inner light of spiritual understanding. Clouds, smoky air, drama, confusion, fear - they may cloud our vision from time to time. But when we tap into our spiritual understanding, we remember our true nature: we are children of the Divine, sparks of the eternal flame, and individual drops in the vast ocean of Spirit. Remembering our divinity is like flipping on a light switch, and suddenly our path forward becomes illuminated. Understanding is your superpower. Don’t be afraid to turn on the light!
