Overwhelm is Contagious. So is Peace.

Sometimes the world feels like we're one acorn away from collapse. Like in the tale of Chicken Little when an acorn bonked poor Henny Penny on the head: "The sky is falling," she screamed. 

Goosey Loosey heard and immediately began stockpiling bottled water and toilet paper. Turkey Lurkey started a group chat called Doom Squad where everybody posted in ALL CAPS. Ducky Lucky captioned an Instagram post,  "Apocalypse, Day One," and it went viral. Fake news spread far and wide. 

Thankfully, when they screamed, “The sky is falling!” at Wise Owl, he just looked up calmly and said, “Nope. Sky's still there." "Ya'll need to switch to decaf,” he added.

It's not just a silly old folktale...it rings more true today than ever. When we let our thoughts, words and emotions arise out of panic, we create more panic. To make a generative contribution toward creating a world that works for all, we need to be centered in our divine nature. Choose to be the presence of peace.
