Kids Camp

Join us for games, songs, crafts, and stories as we connect with each other and express our inner spiritual Truth! This is a safe, supportive environment for all kids from all backgrounds. We are welcoming, inclusive, and nonjudgemental. Kids Camp meet on specific dates (approximately once a month) during the Sunday service at Unity on the North Shore.

Content & Themes: We utilize Virtual Adventures from Unity Worldwide Ministries during Kids Camp. Kids gather around a computer where we open self-guided learning adventures packed full of exciting things like a meditation zone, media room, and creation station. Upcoming 2023 Dates:
December 17th: Unit 1 (Self-Awareness) / Lesson 2 (Discovering Me)

Supervision: Kids Camp is led and supervised by Rev. Jasmine Sassack, a former Youth Minister and our current Executive Director. Jasmine is a mom of six kids who are currently in grade school, middle school, and high school (yes, Jasmine is a tired woman). Jasmine and her husband Michael were licensed foster parents through the State of Illinois for eight years before closing their license due to their home being filled to the brim with love and light and little feet. Jasmine has been fully background checked by UNS.

Side note: Children of all ages are always welcome in our services. We have a small playroom adjacent to our sanctuary space where kids can hang out while supervised by a caregiver who is also able to join in the Sunday Service experience.
