Resistance...just when you think you've escaped its clutching grasp...WHAM! You're caught in its snare like Wile E. Coyote trapped by his own over-intellectualizing.
Under the guise of rational mind, resistance is ingenious at sabotaging Divine Mind. "I can't possibly answer without knowing more: 'How much?' 'How long?' 'What if?' 'What about?'" Let rational mind rule, and eventually it succeeds in ducking the issue entirely.
The antidote is acceptance (one of our spiritual community's core values, by the way). Acknowledging that God is in everything aligns the busy mind with God-Mind. At that level of consciousness, we transcend the tyranny of rational mind and can rest in the realization that what's known, what's not known, what is, and what's yet to be already exist in Divine Mind. And because we are one with the One Mind, everything necessary for discerning the highest and best way forward is ever available.
Like The Roadrunner totally unencumbered by any of Wile E. Coyote's elaborate machinations, as we trust in God-Mind, we transcend the Spirit-quashing over-thinking that's a cornerstone of resistance. Life is then lived with confidence, grace and exuberance. Beep! Beep!
