 Dances of Universal Peace are spiritual practices in motion. The Dances dr
 aw upon sacred phrases\, scripture and poetry of the world’s spiritual t
 raditions\, as well as the common language of the heart. The Dances of Uni
 versal Peace blend chant\, live music\, and evocative movement into a livi
 ng experience of unity\, peace and integration. This opens us to the possi
 bility of a deep spiritual transformation. A greater understanding and app
 reciation of other cultures\, as well as one’s personal path\, is often 
 gained through the experience. All words\, music and steps are taught in a
 n atmosphere of safety\, authenticity\, mindfulness. No musical or dance e
 xperience is required. Participation\, not presentation\, is the focus. No
  special attire is required.\nWe will be guided in the Dances of Universal
  Peace by Donna Schiller\, Certified Leader. Donna has led Dances in sever
 al locations in the Chicago area. In addition\, other Dance Leaders will b
 e invited to share their experiences and love of the Dances of Universal P
