Christmas Eve Candlelighting Service

In the sacredness of a winter's night, we'll remember that our budding spirituality is like the newborn baby Jesus; and that the Christmas story endures because it's our story, too. Then we'll light our candles so we can see that the light of God which shone in Jesus still shines in each of us.
New Year's Eve Burning Bowl Service

Featuring an emphasis on inspiring music, the service also includes a Burning Bowl ceremony to harness the spiritual energy that will bring your New Year's intentions into expression.
"Braving the Wilderness" 5-Week Small Group Book Study
Starting the week of January 14, Groups TBA
New York Times Bestselling author Brene Brown's new book, argues we're experiencing a spiritual crises of disconnection. Brown introduces four practices for true belonging that challenge what we believe about ourselves and each other. In tandem with Rev. Kurt's Sunday lessons we'll meet in small groups to support one another in finding our way back to ourselves an each other.
Rev. Kurt will also be hosting an online book study via Zoom on Tuesdays, January 16 - February 13. A great way to be involved if you can't leave home. Sign ups for all groups will be posted in the Atrium.
UNS Mission, Vision, Core Values Workshop

This workshop will be support us in the creation of the future we seek; provide direction for our leadership selection and future decision-making; and create guidelines for "how we walk our talk." Mid-Week with Megon
The 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, beginning January 10, 2018 at 7 pm
Singer/songwriter and spiritual practitioner, Megon McDonough, creates a mid-week oasis of peace, joy, and spirit on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings of each month. Each evening will include music, meditation, a message, and a healing prayer treatment.

We invite our congregants to bring in a dish, salad, or dessert to share during our time of fellowship after service. No sign-up necessary; we'll remind you the Sunday before, and just bring whatever you'd like! Homemade or store-bought, it's up to you! In the interest of serving others, please plan to pitch in with either set-up or clean-up.
