Welcome! At Unity Church on the North Shore we value our infants, children, and teens for the inherint spiritual gifts that they bring to the world and to our church. As vital members of our community, we strive to support our children's spiritual unfoldment by providing a safe and sacred youth ministry experience. It is our mission to teach our young congregants a pathway to inner and outer peace through the Unity Principles. Our mission in Youth Ministry is to teach infants, children and teens a pathway to inner and outer peace through the Unity Principles. Our curriculum is designed to provide an affirming, positive educational experience where our youth learn to identify and apply relevant spiritual tools in real-life situations. Our fun and comprehensive lessons help our youth discover that they are intrinsically good, utterly unique, and fully capable of expressing their divine Christ selves. Sunday morning educational programs, held from 10:30am to 11:30am, are offered to all children in preschool through high school. We divide our program into three age groups:
We also have a nursery for children who are not yet in preschool. We have several policies in place to ensure the safety of any children entrusted into our care. The church performs background checks on any volunteer or staff person who may be in regular or direct contact with our youth. All volunteers and staff serving in our youth education program are trained in our Sacred Safety policies. |
